Praveen Patel

Founder, Partner

Mr. Praveen S Patel’s professional journey began with teaching in Ahmedabad and later as a clerk at the Bank of India before he pursued entrepreneurship in 1991, founding a prosperous brown paper manufacturing business. Upon moving to the USA, he shifted his career trajectory into retail, eventually partnering with Mr. Pravin K Patel. Their collaboration led to the acquisition and growth of Manhattan Bagel stores. Mr. Patel’s career showcases his adaptability, entrepreneurial acumen, and strategic planning.

These qualities have played a crucial role in maintaining his success and driving his business forward, showing a path marked by innovation and foresight.

Ajay Patel

Founder, Partner

Ajay manages various ventures, including 4 to 5 liquor stores, an Indian Restaurant, a Persian Restaurant, and several rental properties. Additionally, he has been involved in philanthropic endeavors, such as providing aid during the Nepal earthquake. His wife assisted affected individuals using personal funds and made significant donations. His generosity extends beyond financial contributions, reflecting a commitment to making a positive impact on communities in need.

Pravin Patel

Founder, Partner

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry in India, he gained experience in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In 1988, he married a US citizen and relocated to the USA in 1990. Continuing his education, he pursued a Master’s in Pharmacy from MIT, Boston, subsequently working as a pharmacist with prominent names like RiteAid and CVS. Eventually, leveraging his expertise as a licensed pharmacist, he established his own pharmacy. Residing in New Jersey, he has been Praveen Patel’s business partner across all his ventures.2

Robert A. Sagedy Jr.

Certified Public Accountant, Volunteer

Robert A. Sagedy Jr., a Certified Public Accountant, generously volunteers to assist in managing foundation finances and paperwork. His expertise ensures meticulous financial management, benefiting the foundation’s operations. Sagedy’s commitment exemplifies the spirit of volunteerism, contributing significantly to the foundation’s success and impact on the community.
